HaChat Icon still sitting in the waiting room as I type this. Today has been crazy! But I got here at 810 today. If you get there by 10 to 7 you most likely will only wait I would say bout half hour the most. But you never know. Sometimes you get called right away sometimes you don't. I hate it that you never know. I think if you go to garden city alittle before 8 they can take you. Traffic is always crazy driving to and from city. I park in a lot during the week. Impossible to find a spot.

omg this is not good then.
i am going to be 'late' to work but i start work at 7 which is like in montauk compared to NYC lol.

i was hoping if i got there around 630 i would be the first one in and the first one out and avoid traffic.

what do you think?

I don't know. I heard theres already a line by 645 and start calling alittle after that. Being at work by 7 is really hard. I don't think you can make it. I have never gotten here that early so can't tell you for sure. I think its extra busy now because they take there break starting next week till July.

I was there this morning but I had an appt. I was there at 7 and there must have been 40 women there. I park in the mid 70s . If you give yourself a little time then you can find parking. There is also a lot that I think is on 76 that is 8 dollars for two hours.

They have parking in the basement of the building but you can also check our Icon Parking, you may find a discount coupon in the area.

I always take the Jitney Bus into the city (as I live way out east) and they would get me there around 7/7:15am. Sometimes I was out in 20 minutes. I mean they go through the place FAST. If its the start of a series it will be a little longer (I've been going there way longer than anyone should). A few times I would take the bus back home and I would actually be on the same bus and the people working the bus look at me like...didn't you just get off? LOL..... Only a few times did I wait an hour. And for me it was rare, but I didn't go daily there, I mostly monitored in Garden City during the week, where you are in out in 5 minutes on any given day. And I would show up late because I'm always late (almost always just before 9am). I work from home, I have no idea how everyone deals with work and monitoring. Luckily its only everyday for a week. The first week is b/w until your numbers reach a certain level then they add in the u/s. So you have CD2/or 3 and then 4-5 days will go by before you have to go back. Then it depends on your body.

Re: cornell ladies - what time do you get there to monitor?

Oh I did 2 natural FET's there last year. I have to say I loved not taking meds and I loved that my body is like clockwork, but I'll warn you...its a little annoying with the um...samples. And I honestly screwed it up my first cycle, not to where they couldn't use it but I didn't realize they wanted the volume. And then on the 2nd cycle I totally understood how I was supposed to do it. It didn't work for me but then nothing has yet.

Re: cornell ladies - what time do you get there to monitor?

I have done 5 cycles there and know the place too well....:(...

I usually get to the office at 7:30am and get to work in Midtown by 8:30am-8:45 (with bloods and sono)....

Since I have done 5 cycles, I experienced the very busy series and not so busy....it all depends on that....

One cycle I would get there 6:15-6:30 (yes they are open that early) and be done at work at 8-8:30am...then I would get there at 7:30am and be out in 30min (w/sono)....

I would say based on my 5 cycles there, the average wait time is 45min (minute you sign it-until you get out)..in opinion not bad at (for a busiest place in NYC)...
