Hauppauge. There is a super ugly house for sale on my block but it's a great area and almost an acre of flat land. Across from the golf course on a dead end and it has ME of course

I moved to West Islip from Nassau County 4 years ago and love it here!!! Definitely check out West Islip, we have great schools, a great neighborhood and are very close to the Robert Moses Causeway so beaches are right down the block!!!
Are there any areas to stay away from in WI? We saw a couple of homes that looked nice and were relatively inexpensive but we don't know anything about the area. Also, do you know anything about East Islip or Islip Terrace?
Thanks!
Not really, there are any bad areas of West Islip although you'll hear people say South of Sunrise (Hwy) is more favorable and South of Montauk (Hwy) is even more favorable! But with that comes a higher price! I'm not too familiar with East Islip or Islip Terrace I'm sorry.

That is also true for East Islip and Islip Terrace. South of Sunrise is very good and south of Montauk is better. Islip Terrace borders Central Islip, so the houses tend to be less expensive (not always) but go to EI schools which are great. There are a lot of houses available in EI and IT (when I searched MLS) and they are very affordable. If you have questions about a particular home's area/block feel free to FM me.
