help me think of a good lie
i have this horrible purple and tennis ball green bruise about three inches wide by my belly button (and IN my belly button) from the injections.
Family weekend at the beach tomorrow. i only own bikinis. i'm debating wearing a tank top over my bathing suit so I dont have to explain. I would normally say it was from acupuncture but even the acupuncture bruises ive gotten in the past never looked so nasty.
dh said to say i walked into a door knob then he accidently punched me!

I would go with walked into a door knob. For me that would be totally realistic.. one time I walked right into a pole and had a goose egg on my forehead!

hahaaa they'd be tipped off right there since they know i wouldnt be caught dead in a gym!!
i was actually lining up the doorknob- its pretty close to the bruise. maybe ill use that... oh the silly things that are my reality. tee hee

I would go with the acupuncture lie, twice I have gotten crazy insane brusing on my stomach from acupuncture, so it can definitely happen.
And thanks, that is a good idea for a lie for me when people ask me about the bruises I have from getting blood taken.
Like the nail girl that pointed to both my bruised arms, if my mother saw I couldn't smooth that over as well as I did with the nail girl.
