Re: For those of you who love sangria
Not an exact recipe but I LOVE a good red sangria.
I fill up a pitcher about halfway with a good red wine, add about a cup of simple syrup (1 cup boiled water, 1 cup sugar), some flavored rum I got on a cruise, then I add whatever fruit I'm in the mood for, usually cut up strawberries, peaches, oranges, pineapples, etc., all undrained for a little extra juice.
You can do white sangria with more citrusy type fruits but I've never done that.
Mmmmmm....now I want some.

Re: For those of you who love sangria
I got this recipe from a friend of mine. Whenever I make it everyone raves about it.
I just use whatever sangria I can find at my liquor store because they don't carry Lolailo.
Sangria
1 1.5Liter Bottle Lolailo Sangria (BJ's or Costco or Liquor Store) 3/4 Cup Cointreau 3/4 Cup Brandy 1 1/2 Cup Orange Juice 1/4 Cup Sugar 1 Green Apple, Sliced 1 Orange Sliced (Can add 1 peach, but they are gross this time of year)
Pour Brandy, Cointreau and sugar into container and mix. Add sangria and OJ and mix. Add sliced fruit. It is soooo delish. Make ahead of time.

Re: For those of you who love sangria
I use: 1 bottle of red wine 4 cups of diet raspberry gingerale 2 shots of triple sec (if I have it in the house, if not, no biggie) splash of lemonade (I use crystal light strawberry lemonade) sliced apples (1 red, 1 green) sliced orange (1) sliced lemon sliced lime (I don't always use the lemon & lime, whatever you're in the mood for, you could use strawberries too) 2 Tbsp of sugar (I use splenda)
chill & serve = YUM
a little trick....if you have an old fashioned round jello mold, fill it with the flavored gingerale and scatter frozen strawberries and freeze it (and maybe decrease the amount to put in the sangria a little). It will keep your sangria cold in a punch bowl for a party without watering it down as it melts. Enjoy

Re: For those of you who love sangria
I have a delicious white peach one!
Ingredients 1 (750 milliliter) bottle dry white wine 3/4 cup peach flavored vodka 6 tablespoons frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed 1/4 cup white sugar 1 pound white peaches, pitted and sliced 3/4 cup seedless red grapes, halved 3/4 cup seedless green grapes, halved Directions 1.In a large pitcher, combine dry white wine, peach vodka, lemonade concentrate and sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add sliced peaches, red and green grapes. 2.Refrigerate sangria until well chilled, at least 2 hours, or overnight to blend flavors. Serve over ice, and use a slotted spoon to include sliced peaches and grapes with each serving.
Here is the link in case you want multiple servings. I made this for a party last year and made a HUGE punch bowl full and it was gone quickly!
