I cant take anymore of this
5 IUIs already & AF is due this weekend.
I feel her coming and I am about to break down. I cant take anymore of this. I really thought this was it. We did injectibles and had 5 follies! How can it not work?
We dont have IVF coverage at the moment but DH can switch come Oct & we can pick an ins co that does cover IVF.
DH just wants to keep doings IUIs until Oct. This means 5 more months of unsucessful IUIs 
Im ready to say screw it & put the whole thing on the CC and go onto IVF but DH says it doesnt make sense to do this when we can wait & have be covered by ins.
Okay I am rambling...thanks for listening girls..I am over this whole thing.

Well, I tend to be totally irational with choices when it comes to trying to get pregnant because after 15 months and a loss at 7 weeks I just can't deal with waiting! My dh's insurance picks up in Jan and he had ivf while I have zero right now. We made the deal that we would do 1 ivf on our own before switching. Some insurance companies make you have a certain Amt of iui's w them prior to ivf and some have an approval process. For me, had this month not worked, we were going to finish our 3rd injectable iui and then pay oop. I don't know your fininacal situation but if it's going to make you really upset to wait, maybe talk to dh again? I am so sorry :(, it took me 2 months of injectables, femara gave me zero each month so maybe 1 more month will be it ;)

I am so sorry Lola! That's where we are right now. We were only supposed to take a month off before IVF, but right now I have no desire to go through all of that again. It was bad enough getting the BFN after the IUI's, but I am not sure I will be able to handle a BFN after IVF.

def wait if you can have it covered. having been there done that i know it feels like its so important to get pregnant NOW, but if the difference is 4 months and $10,000 AND you can do IUI in between and have no known issues why IUI wouldn't work, just wait. honestly in the end when you're baby is here it's not going to matter to you whether he/she is here in March or July.

yeh, you're right. I just feel like I am wasting my time and like you said..I want a baby NOW!! but it is a lot of $ so I dont think I have a choice but to wait.
On another note, if we switch to GHI (which covers IVF) do we have to do the mandatory 12 IUI with GHI or can we use the ones we did w/the old ins co towards the 12?
I cant imagine doing another yr of IUIs.

ITA with Flowerwife. As for GHI....they will count the IUI's you did under another plan..at least that is what they did for me. Hang in there!!

From what I was told, they will counted towards the amount needed to move onto IVF. Good luck!

i am so sorry! i wish i had better words of wisdom but i know how much this suks..plain and simple it really does
i cant wait till i finsih these iui's so my insurance will pay for a ivf
this whole thing has made me despise ins companies!
we just have to keep going..dont know where we get the strength but we find it and we go foward

Its so upsetting and discouraging. I took a month off this month, as you know, and I feel much more refreshed and relaxed...maybe take a month off and try again in July?
