Endo Symptoms

Hi Ladies...I was wondering if any of you could possibly tell me if my symptoms sound like possible endometriosis? Started AF on 5/17, really heavy, clots (sorry), and sharp sharp pains above my pelvic bone running straight to my butt (sorry again), I couldn't even stand up at one point. Still really heavy and the sharp pains are getting a little less now.

i have endo and those were some of the symptoms i had....really heavy periods that lasted a long time. i did have clots and extreme pain the first day or two.

but even with my symptoms it wasnt determined that i had endo until after a lap. So maybe there's a chance its not endo but something else?

Those are some symptoms of endo. It could just be AF cramps though and heavy AF. Endo can be tricky. I have it but don't really have symptoms. I have heavy AF for the first few days but hardly any cramps. I only found out I had it because my HSG showed a blockage and they did a lap to remove the endo.

Have you had an HSG? It can't diagnose endo but can determine if there is a blockage. The only way to really diagnose endo is with a laparoscopy.

I was diagnosed with endo last month. I just had just about every symptom for it and it still took me 10 years and 3 OBs to diagnose it. For me they only found it because I had a large cyst on my ovary.

Is AF like that every month for you or was it just an extra bad month? If it is a regular occurrence I would def say ask your doctor what they think. Feel free to fm me if you have any questions.
