Registering- Dos and Don't
I know that this has probably been asked before, sorry!
We are not going to "officially " register until we find out the sex, but I wanted to get it started by adding some genric items to it. What can I register for now? Also, are there some items that are completely pointless, that we'll never use and I should not ask for?
Thank you so much for your help!

I'm no expert and I'm still kinda confused about my registry, but I brought a friend who's a mom and she gave me awesome pointers. Do you have a friend you can bring with you? BRU also gave me a great checklist and some of the people that work there were very helpful.

I went off of the checklist. And I asked some people I knew whether or not to register for certain things. The checklist from BRU is a little crazy, but it's a good stating/reference point.

You're right - that checklist is a bit much. I did not register for all of the suggested items. The registry would gave been tremendous!

Re: Registering- Dos and Don't
you could look at strollers and car seats - some don't matter if they are black/brown/blue/etc....it will also help you find out which ones you like...
you might also look at car seats - some are gender specific but most are unisex!
also, bottles, bath tubs (and shampoos, etc), mayeb even white onsies???
if you want a baby carrier, thermometer, baby monitor and all the newborn essentials stuff (nail clippers, etc) could go on too
good luck!

ooh...and a boppy....even if you aren't b-feeding, it still helps you hold them more comfortably when they are small..and doubles as a cute pillow to secure them too!

Thanks for the help. I am going to bring my friend who just had a baby with me first (DH insists on coming ) I will definitely look into the stuff you girls mentioned.
