How to open the central a/c
We just moved into the new house and never had central ac before....so we tried to open it to see how it runs but its not working...are we doing something wrong?....theres a big plug outside on the actual unit that we turn on and it should turn on inside, right?....is there some kind of fuse that needs to be turned on for the season and maybe thats what it needs to work? sorry for my stupidity...I wanted to ask here for before I bother the previous owners...Thanks!

I dont touch anything on the outside unit. I just put the thermostat to cool and my CAC turns on -

I have Apple Air coming here on saturday - This is our second year with the Central AIr and it just wont get cool no matter what temp we put the thermostat on - Hopefully they can figure it out. They are based out of Seaford and were rated Best on LI. They have a $69.99 coupon on their website for tune up.
