Help - TMI question

In the past I have had problems with bleeding with BM. Now that I am in my 2ww and on bloodthinners (Lovenox) there is (what looks like) a lot of blood when I go - the bowl is all red.
Do I call my RE or my gastro doc? I have what is called a fissure, so I know what my problem is, it's just the bleeding part that is freaking me out.
