Christening attire
I haven't been to a Christening in 13 years...and I was 12 then, so I wasn't really all that fashionable.
What is appropriate to wear to a Christening? Sorry if that sounds silly...I really just don't know. They are having the reception in the backyard, but I could change into something a bit more casual after Church if need be.

Re: Christening attire
I was just at a backyard party after a christening yesterday. some people were wearing jeans (mostly guys), some girls were wearing simple cotton dresses and a few (including myself) were wearing khakis and a nice shirt. no one was overly dressed up.

Re: Christening attire
Just had DS's christening and the attire was all over the place. A couple people had shirt with tie, some had nice slacks n shirt, some had jeans and T's. I think as long as immediate family sitting in the front pews looks nice (suits, simple dresses, khakis and button downs...), everyone else can generally be comfortable. I personally would not wear jeans, but I don't care if anyone else does.

Re: Christening attire
I wore a work dress to my cousin's christening last fall.
