Re: my amh results..
Just wanted to send you some
What does your RE say? Have you seen more than 1? have you had the AMH test redone just to be sure?
Well i'm new to the fsh/amh levels, but i have been doing an insane amount of reading on it the past few months. I do know that i've read a lot of stories in which the amh levels were close to yours and they did get pregnant. Of course there are always those stories, even those that happened naturally. So you never know.
But I have no idea what you've been through or what path you've gone down so i feel like it's no one's place to comment on if you should be trying- other than you. Only you can determine where you start and where you end.

Re: my amh results..
I don't think amh can vary much, but for peace of mind... i'd have it done again just to make sure. I would if it were me.
I think if Dr. B is okay with you trying and hasn't discouraged you... then by all means keep trying. Are you doing IVF? how do your follicles/eggs look when you do IVF?
We all know that there is a lot out there online to read and it can definitely make us panic or get stressed out. At one point i had to stop reading because it seemed like anyone with high fsh was totally devastated. I just can't go there. I'm going to keep plugging along and until my RE starts getting worried... then i'm going to put on my tunnel goggles and keep looking straight ahead until then.

Re: my amh results..
3 REs advised that donor eggs were the only way for me to go but Dr. B said he would try everything for me to have my own baby.
I know you said he mentioned HGH. Are you willing to do that? It was what worked for me. I went from getting only 1 or 2 follicles to 5.

Re: my amh results..
just wanted to pass along some inspiration.
Story of hope diagnosed POF age 26, FSH 16.7, AMH .01..Happy ending (Child mentioned) I've been meaning to post for a while now but haven't had time. In light of the new threads started...many with my age or FSH or AMH I feel like I should post my story now.
Four months after my 26th birthday and a year after trying to get pregnant I was diagnosed with POF. My FSH was 16.7. I had a great AFC but my AMH came back at .01. To top it all off DH has MF...low count and motility. I think 11 million and 17% if I remember correctly.
August '09 I started DHEA, CoQ10, Vitamin E, continued follic acid, and baby aspirin. Had my first non-medicated in August because there was one follie during an u/s. BFN.
October '09: Started first IVF did the MDL protocol. After 13 days of stims...4 shots/day. No follies and e2 of 50-something. Cancelled.
November '09: Started acupuncture. IVF #2. Femara, 300 IU Gonal-F in the a.m., 300 IU Menopur in the p.m. 2 follies. 1 fertilized 1 didn't. Fertilized embryo arrested before transfer. No transfer.
December '09: Break from treatments...headed to Mexico....natural BFP! Yes, MF and my dx! At 7 weeks lost heartbeat and had D&C January '10.
April '10: Started 3rd IVF (sidelined for a while after m/c...cysts). Femara, 450 Gonal-F in the a.m. 150 IU Menopur in the p.m. 2 follies. Sound familiar? 1 fertilized 1 didn't. Here we go again.... fertilized embryo made it to a day 3 transfer as a 6 cell with little fragmentation. Turned 27...5 days later 2 pink lines!
......many crazy pregnant lady worries later.....
December 31, 2010 - Colton Robert was born.
story #2- We went to the RE, who is phenomenal in Atl, and she ran my bloodwork and did a full work up. I was scheduled to go back in a few days later. We went in and she gave us the grim news. My FSH was 43 and my AMH was .01 and my u/s on my ovaries revealed little to no activity. She said that my only hope would be egg donor as I was not a candidate for IVF, IUI or drugs. It was the hardest day of my life. All I could think was how could I have waited so long and not looked into it sooner and how could I let my work get in the way of my life. I was so devastated although I knew my BF would be there for me, I was broken. All my best friends were having babies later in life with no issues and here I am, always been healthy, done everything right and this is what happens.
We decided we would go the egg donor route the next fall and in the meantime were planning our wedding. We put money in our FSA in January and also decided in the meantime, we'd at least try Accupuncture so we could feel like we did something. My fiancee was so positive about it all and just kept saying, you never know. I am more of a realist and really was just appeasing him. I was so busy with work in December and January that I kept forgetting to make the appointment. I finally made the appt after much pressure from my Fiancee. In the meantime, I was using OPK's and I had a positive test. I knew that was good news that I was ovulating but still didn't believe anything would come of it. With the tests came one pregnancy test. On a whim, I took it one morning before work. Ironically, the day before my Accu appt I finally scheduled. I wasn't late or anything, I just wanted to take it to get it out of the box really. It came back BFP! I was so shocked and went and got another one. Same thing! I couldn't believe it. How could this be??? All my Fiancee said was, he knew we could do it. I went to the RE that afternoon and took a blood test. They called me that evening to confirm. We went the next day to see our RE and she was so shocked and said it was truly a miracle. However, she said based on my blood tests, I had a very high chance to miscarry so she recommended not telling anyone. I went every other day to track my HCG levels and they rose appropriately. We had our first u/s and saw all the right things and had several more after. The baby was growing well and had a strong HB. Our RE graduated us at 9 weeks to my OB and all of us cried that day. She could not believe the miracle and neither could we. Although my Fiancee kept telling all of us he knew he could do it! We were still not out of the woods as there was high risk for chromosomal issues with my levels so we held our breath during the 12 week (where we found out we were having a boy! ) and the 20 week. We had no markers and the blood tests came back normal. We decided against an amnio because of these and the fact that we were so scared to do anything to jeapordize. I had a fairly good pregnancy once we got through the stress of the first four months.
We are now the proud parents of a beautiful 4 month old baby boy. He is the light of our lives and our little miracle. I hope you too can take this story and hold it tight because miracles can happen!
**found these on a great board i just found. LINK

what's HGH?
Human Growth Hormone. It has been very successful for women with DOR and poor egg quality.
