Shoe Problem-WEIRD
SO I bought these flats from the Famous Footwear Outlet at the Arches about a month ago. They are cute and comfy and go with everything....great, right?
Well, the problem is that the leather they are made of (cheap presumably, given the store) STINKS. Like smells like a mixture of burning and rotting. I have no idea what to do. I called the store, and they won't return them since I wore them. They are so stinky I can smell them when I am standing and I am 5'10"
Should I soak them in something? Spray them? Shellac them? Throw them away?
Has anyone encountered a similar problem?

Email the home office or ask that store manager for the district managers information.
I had problem with Aerosoles a while back. A pair of shoes they claimed were leather were plastic and they wouldn't take them back after I wore them. They contacted the district manager, she contacted me and I was given refund.
