Anyone have tubal issues?
Its not definite issue but a possibility. We are giving the immune protocol a few tries first. Has anyone gotten pregnant despite known tubal or did you need Ivf.
I'm just worried about needing Ivf because it's not covered and we dont have $10000 to spend on something that's iffy and more iffy because of the immune issues.

Re: Anyone have tubal issues?
yes, i had major tubal issues. HSG showed possible blocked tube on left side. repeat showed the same. had surgery to unblock the tube, which worked. turns out the tube was not functioning properly and had an ectopic pregnancy (conceived via IUI with clomid). lost the left tube. did not get pregnant again with IUI, moved onto IVF. fresh cycle was a bust, frozen cycle had another possible ectopic. pregnancy terminated with methotrexate shot. last frozen cycle, negative.
conceived on my own during a break from IVF. was consulting with new doctors and had a sono around ovulation and found out i was ovulating on my left side that month
feel free to FM me if you have any questions. i was told that IVF is the best way to get pregnant with tubal issues. but if you have one functioning tube, there is hope for IUI/natural.

Re: Anyone have tubal issues?
Thanks ladies. :)
My tubes are open (left is very open and right is not as open, but the dye still got through). But since I have had a lap and have endo, its possible that the tube is just not propelling the egg down.
They said its not definite, but the only way to tell this is happening is if I don't get pregnant in a few tries on the immune protocol.
Isn't there a way to see how the tubes are moving? I thought there was a sono or something but might just be making this up in my head.
Im really reluctant to do ivf b/c it's not covered and with the immune issues, there is still a chance it could be a bust

I don't think there is a way to see that. When I had my lap, my dr looked at my right tube and said it looked good. But other than that, you don't 100% know if it's working properly. Usually, if the dye goes through easily, the tube is fine. So at least you have one great tube! The dye went through very easily on my right side and that tube is fine.
Thank you!

Re: Anyone have tubal issues?
I had tubal issues as well as immune issues(oh and high fsh too) I am busy right now and its a long story, but here's a link to my old IVF diary. I had 4 losses, lost a tube to emergency surgery via ectopic, fsh of 14.9, High NK cells, high ANA, MTHFR and a couple of other clotting issues. I did IVF(paid OOP as well) transferred 2 3 day embies and have 2.5 yr old twin boys
