Released already??
I went yesterday for my 6wk4d sono and there was a HB (YEY..and we have a singleton even though we put back 2 blasts), and than after the sono the Dr told me to call my regular ob and continue with them. I guess it's a good thing, but it just seems so early to release me to my reg ob. Anyone else get released this early too?

I was...I asked what to do next and he said, "Come back with the healthy baby" It did feel weird, but I also had waited to test, so it might have been a bit after 6 weeks...congratulations!

I was released at 7 weeks, he said he did his job, now it's someone elses turn to take care of the babies. Congrats!!!

i was released at 6w6d when we saw the heartbeat. i thought i was going to cry (about leaving my dr). lol

Thanks ladies! I thought I was going to cry too..he said to come back so he can see my big belly and than when the baby comes. Onto the next phase..

Maybe because I have recurrent pregnancy loss isues, but I was never released until 9 weeks.
If you feel uncomfortable, I'm sure you can always call your RE.

I was released around that time but since I couldn't get an appt with my new OB until I was 10 weeks due to the holidays, my RE continued to see me for the next 2 weeks. Any questions I had they were happy to answer when I called. Congrats!!!
