SHG- water sono

I'm having one done this cycle. Is it horrible that I WANT him to find some scarring from my csection? It would be so much better to know what the heck is wrong instead of the cop out term of unexplained second IF.

Is the SHG painful? The HSG wasn't too bad for me, I had a cramp on one side for a min and that was it.

I had one with my preliminary testing before Jack and just had one before this cycle. Both times were not painful at all. They put some water in your uterus through a catheter and do a quick sono. I'm surprised that they didn't do one before your first IUI. I asked my RE why we were doing one again since I had one already. She said that they routinely do it after every pregnancy to check for any scaring or changes.

I know how you feel about wanting to see something wrong. At least then you would have a reason and something they can fix.
