girls who do accupuncture

What is is like? This may sound stupid, but does it hurt? How often do they recommend you go? I know it isn't covered by insurance and can get expensive. I am thinking of making an appt with the person in RVC everyone talked highly about. Just trying to get some info before I call. Thanks!

I love it and am obsessed with it.

Does it hurt? Honestly no, most of the time I don't feel it at all. Every once in a while I feel it, but it isn't pain really. Like when I have menstrual cramps and she put them in my stomach it is more sensitive, but never pain-pain. Like a weird twinge.

Then laying there for twenty minutes with spa music on in the dark, it's like I don't know if it took one minute or 4 hours, I am in this dream like relaxing state. When I leave I feel like I am on drugs!

I pay $65 and go once a week.

i dont go for fertility but i have been going for about 6 months.

she puts them in different spots depending on what my need is that week, then she leaves me in a darkish room with nice music for 20 minutes. its really nice. sometimes, i will tell you, it pinches for a quick second, but thats usually because it hit a blocked chi and its opening it up. so its a good thing and it doesnt last long!

The person I see is in Huntington, he was recommended from Dr.B's office. I know some people have had mixed reviews...For right now, I am still happy. I go there and he puts them in (they hurt depending on my sensitivity that day). His pricing is $80 per session or you can do a package which makes them $66. I started back in January and I go 1-2 a week depending where I am in my cycle (doing them w/infertility treatments). Sometimes I fall right asleep and enjoy it, othertimes I make my supermarket lsit..Either way I noticed AF is MUCHHH better since I started. I also did hear it can help with FSH and endo...Good Luck
