Need a fun restaurant in Manhattan with music
Any recommendations? Jazz or blues preferred

UPDATE- esperanto in the east village had fun brazillian music, great cheap food and caprinhas!!

We actually looked at that one already. My dad didnt like the band that was playing that day!!! thank you

You might enjoy Birdland if you want great Jazz music. The downside is that there will probably be a cover charge plus a food/bev min. BUT it you are willing to sit in the bar area (they have a few high tables) you don't have to worry about the cover/min and the seats are fine for seeing/hearing the band.
