SPR - can you put pyrex in the freezer
I am trying to put some things in the freezer to be defrostable when the baby comes. We really dont use plastic stuff in our house so my question is can i put my pyrex glass containers in the freezer? if not what do people freeze food in?

I would be afraid it would crack either in the freezer or upon defrosting...
we use reusable tupperware or Ziploc bags...you can use aluminum foil as well...

No, i'd be afraid it would crack. if you don't have plastic/tupperware, wrap in foil and put in labeled ziploc bags. this lets you portion it off now too, which helps.

i've put it in the freezer many times. just be sure the container is at room temp before you heat it up or whatever (if applicable)

They are freezer safe and I have always put them in the freezer. A lot of the plastic tupperware can transfer BPA and all that bad stuff so I only use Pyrex.

they are freezer safe.
What makes glass crack is going from extreme hot to extreme cold or vice versa.
So if you take the frozen glass out of the freezer don't go pouring boiling water in it.  Otherwise you are fine. I've frozen it before.
