Whitestone folks please come in...
Which is the best pizza place in Whitestone? Preferable brick oven?
I am not familar with the area.

I'm in Bayside, and DH and I always order from Pizza Chef in the Whitestone Shopping Center.
Sometime we stop at Gino's on Parson's and Willets in the Key Food Shopping center.
Neither is brick oven.

We order from these places
Cascarino's - in Beechhurst. We order their margarita pizza it's a bit more $ but always really good
The Clintonville - they don't deliver you have to pick up
We only get Pizza Chef if we are going to eat there. For some reason it tastes different when it's delivered.

HANDS DOWN Villagio! It's on the corner of 150 and CIP. DH and I go there all the time - all of their food is great!

in Whitestone... def Cascarinos Margarita.
however.. a bit out of the way but in Oakland Gardens (bayside) Villa Rustica formerly Sal & Vinnys.... its about 10 min down the Clearview expy on Bell & 73rd ave.

If you're willing to travel a bit south, Aquistas on Union also has good pizza, imo.

I think the Clintonville has the best pizza in Whitestone, but it is not thin crust brick own style. For that style I would go to Villagio. Both are sit down restaurants where you can takeout.

Personally, I think the BEST pizza is at Amore in the Pathmark shopping center on Linden and the Whitestone Expy. The shopping center itself I find disgusting, but the pizza is worth the trip!!!

We usually do cascarino's these days... but as a kid it was usually pizza chef or Freddy's was actually always great too. Not sure how good either of them are now!
