Gravy separator question
Can someone please explain to me (as if I'm an idiot ) how to use my gravy separator. I've looked up instruction online but I always seem to either pour out much of the good stuff or leave in too much of the bad stuff.

We have the same one. I just pour whatever we're making into the top gray part.

Thanks. Do you pour off the grease from the top before taking out the plug or do you just let it settle and then pour out the good stuff from the bottom?

exaclty what she said! I sometimes put ice cubes in it cause it attracts the fat and separates faster!

Thank you all! A few more questions. Seriously, I'm a good cook and a smart person but I feel like an idiot with this thing!
Do you scrape up the bits over the burner, then separate it, then pour back into the pan to add the flour and such? Or do you just pour it into a saucepan?
Really, I can make pretty good gravy I just know I'm not doing it the right way!
