Endometral biopsy

I am going for an endometrial biopsy tomorrow and just wondering what to expect. Is it painful? how long does it take? Will I get any results right away? thanks ladies!!

Keep in mind everyone is different. . .

For me I felt a lot of pressure (during)and cramping afterward. My friend felt more pain during the procedure.

The whole thing only took a couple of minutes. I would bring a pad.

I also took 2 motrin an hour before the appointment and then another 1-2 (can't remember) when I arrived at the doctor's office. That probably helped with the pain.

I don't remember how long I waited for the results. I think 1-2 weeks. It def wasn't right away.

Cramping, +/- spotting, take ibuprofen if u can, 30mins prior. Good luck!

Sorry, I forgot to add.. pathology can take 1-2wks usually.

I had mine 2 years ago and I remember pressure/cramping but it was quick, def. take ibuprofen or tylenol before

It doesnt last long but I would definitely recommend taking a motrin 30 mins before. I got my results in 3 days.
