2 Questions...What do you wash and what do you put together?

i just had my shower and now the nursery has gift overload!

i got a lot of clothes and i heard to only wash a few things at first. Besides the clothes, what else did you/are you going to wash? Bedding, blankets, changing table sheet? anything else?

also, what needs to be put together right away? i know i need ready the car seat and probably the frame. i have the rock and play sleeper and i need the bassinet together. no exersaucer or anything like that yet right? those can wait?

I washed anything that would touch her skin directly so I washed clothing, sheets, changing cover, sleep stuff including her receiving blankets, swaddlers, and sleep sacks. Pretty much everything.

I would put together anything she is going to use right away. I put together the bassinet, swing, bouncer and pack and play. Those are the things I use the most.

Same.

On the clothes though, I only washed what I assumed she would be able to wear right away. The slightly bigger stuff I left tags on just in case. I have ended up needing very little clothing, mostly just her newborn size stuff.
