For those dealing with Male Factor
Yes, another question! So, all my testing came back normal.. ovulating regularly (good eggs lol) but dealing with MFIF. What's the protocol? If we decide on IVF/IUI, do I have to be medicated?
As a side note, I HATE.. no like H-A-T-E taking meds... so just wondering if all things with me check out ok, will the dr still suggest it?

Re: For those dealing with Male Factor
If male factor are your only issues I would highly recommend cosidering vitamins and supplements. I put DH on a ton and his SA went from pretty bad to above average. for exampl his morphology went from 4% to 23.3%. I will bump a thread I made on TTC that has the list.
Good luck!
ETA: I just saw when I bumped the post that you've seen it already. Sorry!

Re: For those dealing with Male Factor
Yes I did see it! Thank you so much. Do you mind if I ask how long it took to improve? Are those supplements what the Dr prescribed?

Re: For those dealing with Male Factor
No problem. We waited about 5 months in between each SA. No they weren't prescribed by a doctor. I found them all through tons of research that I did. In fact no doctor ever ever informed me that sperm could improved at all. I was basically just told time to move to IVF.

Re: For those dealing with Male Factor
I could be wrong, but I think whether you go through IUI or IVF depends on SA numbers and various other factors. You'll defintely have a better idea after your consult.
If you go through IVF, you'll have to take all the medications / injections because the majority of the process will be getting you ready for the process.

Re: For those dealing with Male Factor
We started with unmedicated IUI's. However, his post-wash numbers were so poor that IUIs ended up being a complete waste of time. We moved to IVF and with IVF you will need to take meds. I found the meds for IVF were not that bad at all, for me the worst was the estrogen patches for FET's!!!
