list price went up?
we are meeting with a builder for a 2nd time tomorrow night to make an offer a house - my DH just emailed me that on list book the house is now 14k higher!!!!
How did that happen? They did change the photos.
on mlsli the photos are changed and the price is the same.
Do you think they made a mistake on list book or did the price go up 14k?
TIA!

Re: list price went up?
Maybe its a mistake but it shouldn't matter anyway.. I'm sure you already have a number in your head & stick to your original offer. I bought from a builder too & the ball is really in your court since he wants to build, unload & move on. He's not living in the house so he's not offended or attached by any offer & usually will counter anything. Builders won't go down too much on the price because they want a certain percentage of profit but he will be willing to negotiate credits towards upgrades since that costs him less. Good Luck.

Re: list price went up?
has there been a lot of interest? was it underpriced to begin with?
we are in contract on a home that was underpriced to begin with. on day 1, they got TEN full price offers we were the first offer to come in.
that night, they raised the price by 20k and we met them - they took our offer and stopped accepting offers.
