I'm making a cold pasta salad since brunch is usually hectic and there are many other warm dishes to prepare. I use elbows or rotini pasta. I cook the pasta and mix it with cut up veggies (red peppers, green peppers, black olives, green olives, carrots, celery and cucumbers) and then toss it in newman's own salad dressing (original olive oil and vinegar).

I mix Ina Garten's green goddess dressing with some cooked pasta, halved grape tomatoes and some fresh mozzarella. So yummy!

I like to use bowtie pasta or rotini, cherry tomatoes, and mozzarella balls. I toss it all with some salt, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and basil.

cook pasts ( i like tri-color rotini) for the last 2 minutes throw in broccoli florets (so they can cook for just a bit).

cool pasta and broccoli under water.... I mix in our favorite italian dressing, grated parm cheese/pecorino romano and all or some of the below (depends on what I have and who is coming to eat and what they like):

chopped red onion
chopped sundried tomoatoes
cubed mozz
peppers
artichoke hearts
asapragus (would treat like broccoli)

we are a seed free family, so no tomatoes, but if I could I would, sundried ones don't spread the seeds all over!
