what strollers are you considering?
I can't seem to make up my mind on a lot of things & a big one is the stroller. I like the uppa baby, i candy & teutonia but DH hates them all so the search continues. Any suggestions would help

Re: what strollers are you considering?
I like the Baby Jogger (which is not a jogging stroller) City Mini because I can lift it up to my head with one hand :) Good Luck on your search!

So far I like this also. I plan on getting a snap n go for when the baby is an infant.
Depends on your needs though. Do you live in the city? Is walking your main mode of transport? If so Baby Bargains recommends the UPPA BABY...more sturdy. If you drive more often then they recommend city mini or macclaren HTH

Re: what strollers are you considering?
i have the uppa baby and the city mini.
DH didnt like the idea of the uppa baby at first but then he saw it in the store and liked it and now he really likes it since he assembled it and its all ready for when baby girl arrives.
The uppa baby is a great stroller, has your DH actually seen and used it?
The city mini is amazing too...I couldnt chose and strollers were my main splurge so i got both

I registered for the City Mini. I loved how light it is and how compact it is when it is folded. I don't think you coud go wrong either way!

Re: what strollers are you considering?
We registered for the City Select and the Maclaren Quest Sport for our lightweight. I was town between the Maclaren and the City Mini but the weight and compact fold made the decision for us since it was for a lightweight stroller.

I think we are too. Either that or the city select but I like the uppababy better.

Re: what strollers are you considering?
DH and I literally spent over 1 month researching for strollers. We looked at Uppa Baby Vista, Britax B-Ready, Bumbleride Indie, Bumbleride Flyer, Baby Jogger Citi Mini and lastly Britax B-scene.
For us, we were looking for a stroller that will be comfortable for our DD after she outgrows the snap n go. Here's what OUR thoughts were for each:
We really wanted the option of having the baby facing us or away from us so we crossed out Bumbleride Indie. The second main reason was because it did not fold down very compact at all. We also crossed out Citi mini even though it was the lightest and very easy to fold. It just did not seem like there's enough back support to be comfortable for our baby. Although, I have thought about getting it down the road when she's slightly older since it's just SO LIGHT!
Uppa Baby, Britax B-ready, Bumbleride Flyer and Britax B-scene allow the baby to face or away from us. We prefered the Uppa baby and b-ready and b-scene because of that option AND the basket WAS HUGE for storage. You can adjust the height of the handle for the stroller which is convenient because DH is 6'2" and I'm only 5'3". This was where we got stuck!!! Uppa Baby and B-ready are pretty much identical. At the end we went with the B-scene because it's more convenient to fold and the wheels are made more for all terrain.

Re: what strollers are you considering?
I REALLY wanted the Uppa Baby but DH vetoed it, he thought it was too expensive and didn't want anyone spending that much on it if we registered for it ... and he didn't want to spend the cash on it either.
We eventually settled on the Bumbleride Flyer, which I really liked as well. It was my second choice (as well as DH's second choice - originally, he wanted the Graco MetroLite).

Re: what strollers are you considering?
We are fairly certain we are registering for the Double city mini and Snap n Go.
Just a note on the the Uppa that I noticed when I used it...My gf has this stroller and it is BIG and heavy...and when we go to the mall or in resturants , places with tight spaces- it is not really easy to manuever and turn. It IS great for long walks tho and the baby def looks comfy. It really depends on your needs.

Re: what strollers are you considering?
I think it is a good idea to have an umbrella type stroller if you are doing a big stroller like an UppaBaby.
I have the Bugaboo Frog as the big stroller and the Baby Jogger City Mini as our umbrella. We love both and it is nice to have a tiny stroller for when I have to go somewhere fast or in a tight spot!

Re: what strollers are you considering?
We are using the same one we had for DS, which is practically new bc we went through like 3 or 4 before I settled on one that I finally loved.
We finally went with and LOVE the Graco LiteRider. It has all the bells and whistles of a full size but w/ none of the bulk or the weight.

Re: what strollers are you considering?
i have really been loving this stroller by Graco. It has a very stylish look and has features of the more exspensive strollers but only costs $300. It is the Graco Signatgure Series stroller.

we went with the City Mini Elite - loved how easy it was to fold up and manuever. And we went with a Snap-n-Go to use with the infant carrier at first.

Re: what strollers are you considering?
I have the Peg Perego Pliko P3 which is fabulous -- it has the extra step for a second child to stand on in the back (my SIL said it's a must if you plan to have more than one child) and is only 17 lbs so it's pretty portable. It has extendable handles, too, for tall people. I got it on CL for $100 (it's usually $300 new) and it's in perfect condition. If you want something that's forward or backwards, I suggest checking out the Peg Perego Switch.
