baby bargains book

I love the book but I think it's making me a little crazy. I'm indecisive to begin with & it just seems to confuse me even more.
Little things like side snap newborn t's...all I see in BBB & BRU are gerber & they give them a not so great rating, same with summer baby monitors (which is all I see in those stores)
I know there are other places to buy things but as far as registering, those are the places people are going to buy me things from & a lot of things they recommend are best, aren't from there.

I wouldn't really worry about the rating of clothing. Gerber runs small, so just remember that. Your LO will outgrow clothing SO FAST anyway. We just used onesies from the very beginning (carter and circo and other various brands people got us, just not gerber) and sleep & plays (I liked snaps, a lot of people like zippers) -- those are the footie pj's things.

As far as video monitors go, if you're in the city or somewhere that you're concerned about having cross-interference with others' monitors, then it's important to review which have the least likelihood of interference. Stuff like that. But talking to BTDTs is a great way to get reviews and suggestions.

Baby Bargains is great for the important things like the car seats and furniture and safety devices. But don't let it stress you out!
