cereal question.....

My DH just started cereal and fruit. My schedule is:

6:30 6oz form
8:00 cereal/fruit/1 oz form to wash down
10:00 6 oz form
1:00 6 oz form
4:00 6 oz form
5:30 cereal/1 oz form to wash down
7:00 4 oz form and bed

My question is....do any of you merge these feedings?? meaning can I either combine a bottle and solids or do I really need the 1 oz afterwards?

I usually combine the cereal feeding with the bottle- so typically i would give DD about 2-3 ounces of her bottle and then feed her the cereal. Doesn't have to be right after the other as my kid stays up for about 2 hrs at a time so i make sure she gets both in that span.
