Nobody told me I had to have someone drive me so I drove myself and I was absolutely fine afterward.

I did not have any blockages though and I'm not sure if it would have been different if I had.

I went on my lunch break and then went back to work. I was fine, also no one told me either.

Re: HSG do I really need someone to drive me?

I didnt know someone was supposed to come so when I was finished, the Dr asked where my DH was.. when I told him he was at work, he didn't really think it was a big deal for me to drive.
I was totally fine and went to the gym for a regular workout routine just a few hours later.
I had no blockages and felt very little cramping.
Good luck!!

Did you take it yet?

I was in SO much pain after my HSG and they didn't find anything wrong. I def could not have driven. I was in pain for about 1 hr... and then it disappeared.

I worked in the morning, left work, drove myself there, drove back to work and worked a full day. I had minimal cramping and spotting that day only. It was slightly more crampy during this one than last one, but not terrible. I never even read that you need someone to drive you. Chat Icon
