Ham Help
I'm hosting a small group for Easter and was planning on making a ham. I've never made one before...can anyone fill me in on how I should make it, what I cook it in (roasting pan?), how long it will take? Just looking for a recipe, really, I guess...thanks!!!

Re: Ham Help
I usually just make a mixture of brown sugar and maple syrup to make a glaze. Cook in a roasting pan at about 350, usually15-20 minutes per pound.

Re: Ham Help
it depends if its a canned ham or spiral ham, i always do canned ham surprisingly i like the taste better i stick whole cloves all over the top of it, a layer of brown suger, then lay pineapple on top of it and pour the pineapple juice on top of everything, maybe add a little water to the bottom of the pan i cook it for 20 min per lb at 350
you could use a small roasting pan
a spiral ham you would have to make more of a glaze and rub it on the ham they all have cooking directions on them
