Is it really bad that...
I didn't take the progesterone suppository last night? I had an IUI last Thurs and Fri and was supposed to start last night, only because it is standard with Dr. B.
I put it in and after like 2 minutes it started to burn and I started to cramp a bit on my stomach but a lot in my back. I got worried I was having an allergic reaction to it.
Is this normal, was I having a reaction? Should I start them again tonight?

I would call or email Dr. B and see what he says. Maybe he can have you try an alternative, like Crinone. I've never had that kind of reaction to the suppositories.

I took progesterone orally for non-IVF cycles. Could not tolerate the suppositories. Ask him about that and GL!!

The IUI was one week ago? I think you probably should have started progesterone already. I had my IUIs last Wednesday and thursday and started progesterone on Friday I think.
Which kind of progesterone were you using? I would call the office right away and ask what to do.

Re: Is it really bad that...
I had them on the 7th and 8th and was told to start on the 14th. They are the big pill looking white ones. I am positive this is what Sandra told me.
Also i originally asked Dr. B about them because I was surprised when he rx them for me. He said it was normal protocol, nothing in my blood came back abnormal that this is just what he does with everyone.
I will call and ask them.

ITA. unless you are exaggerating the symptoms a bit, this does not sound like a normal reaction to supps.

It wasn't horrible terrible pain, but it started to slightly burn after 2 minutes and I felt some cramping being to start. I took it out because my concern was if it got bad during the night and if I didn't know and woke up with a serious issue in my privates!
At least if I try it again tonight tomorrow is Saturday and I don't have work.
I called the office but they have to have someone call me back.

Re: Is it really bad that...
I had a crappy reaction the first time although it was different. I ran 103 fever, sweats and overall confusion. It was really weird. I emailed Dr.B that night and he said sometimes people run a high fever but to try 1 more night and if it was still bad we would switch. I was fine the 2nd night and have been fine every cycle since. I think my body was just in SHOCK it had some progesterone. All of my pregnancies prior had extremely low prog numbers so I don't think my body makes any
