It fell through
For those of you who have been following the story...we finally got a call this morning from our RE, who found out that this woman is now taking the house OFF the market...after 2 weeks and an accepted offer.
DH and I are upset and ******...the seller really handled this SO poorly and unprofessionally.
Guess its back to square one...I'm glad we're coming into the season because we are feeling very discouraged by what is on the market right now...

So sorry! That totally stinks but don't get discouraged - your house is still out there. Just keep looking and I am sure you will find one that you love even more!

Hopefully everything happened for a reason and you will find an even nicer house!!!
Over the next few weeks there should be alot of new inventory coming to the market.

Yea that really $ucks but better you find out now then have her back out on the closing! Just keep looking. I keep hearing that new inventory will be pouring in all spring

I'm so sorry to hear that Its so hard when you become emotionally invested in a house that you think will be your home just to have it pulled out from under you.
Just try to remember that everything happens for a reason and you will find your perfect house soon!

I know its hard to believe, but the right house is waiting for you. We lost 2 houses that I was hearbroken about at the time... now in the house we are in, I think of things in those houses all the time that I would have hated and realize I got the best one!
It will all work out, I promise

Awh, I'm sorry to hear that.
I had the same thing happen to me but the reverse as the seller - my buyer requested an early close, so we scrambled to find something new fast to accomodate her, then she decided to push it back to the initial date and then out of nowhere, she decided she didn't want the house at all. 
Fortunately (i guess!) we went to a lease so we are mustering up the courage to tell our landlord this weekend what happened and pray he'll be sympathetic. Now we move back to our house.
So we're back to the beginning too... I feel for you!
