Unless the Dr. tells you otherwise you certainly can. My BF got pregnant the cycle after her HSG. Good luck

I was told not to BD without protection from CD1 till when I had the HSG. After that it was fine to TTC.

Our RE told us not to TTC at all that cycle, either before or after the HSG. That was disappointing at the time, but I got PG the very next cycle. Good luck!

I just had mine on Monday and the doctor told me I can have intercourse whenever I wanted. He said that it was ok to do it right away. I waited one day, but it was fine. No pain or discomfort at all. I'm ovulating this week, so there was no way I was going to skip it. Besides, I've heard that many woman get pg after this procedure

I don't see why not?  I had my HSG on CD 10 and O'ed on CD 20 or so, I don't know why injecting dye into my tubes 10 days earlier would have affected anything.
Anyway, I didn't get pg that cycle but I did get pg the cycle afterwards! They say that the HSG opens up your tubes a little and the effect lasts for 3 months.

Yes, the Dr. who did mine encouraged it b/c the dye can clear the tubes out and make you more fertile.

I was told the same. Mainly bc they want to be 100% sure you are not pregnant during the test. After should be fine.

The only thing they did tell me is that since I'm on meds I could O earlier than mormal so I needed to have it done on the early side. They do it CD7-10 and I'm having it CD7. If you O, the dye will push the egg away.
