Japanese Hair straightening

Has anyone ever just done the back of yuor head? I have straight hair, but due to pregnancy the back of my hair is now wavy and I can't stand it! I was thinking of just doing the back, do you think it would look funny>

Honestly, I think Japanese Hair Straightening looks funny when it starts to grow out, its a lot of maintenance and destroys your hair.

I much prefer Kertain/Brazil blow outs, because it fades out as your hair grows out, and its much gentler. They can put it through your whole head, but maybe they can only really apply the hot iron treatment to the bottom half? I don't see why not.

The back part of my hair started to get wavy a few years back after I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, and it has only spread! It's till not my whole head yet, the sides are basically strait.

I've asked about getting various treatments done to just that section and I was always advised against it and it was suggested I do the whole head. I think once I'm done being pregnant I'll get the keratin.
