does that mean there is a good chance you will also respond well to Femara? I'm starting Femara this month. I got a a 24 and 25mm from clomid last time. Just wondering.

I've never taken Femera so I can't answer your question. But, I'm trying to decide if Clomid is working for me and I don't think it really is. If was for you, why are you switching meds? Thanks! Trying to figure all of this out...

Did you get any follies on clomid?

I had a 24 and a 25 so he said I was senitive to it which was a good thing.

I should have been on Femara to begin with but my ins didnt cover it. I ended up getting a 3 mo supply from the Femara site so Im using it now. I have endo which can result in thinning lining and the clomid was thinning it too much.

Last cycle I got one follie at 20.5 but didn't O well (8dpo progesterone was only 5.4 indicating a weak Ovulation). This cycle at CD12 I had one at 12.4 and one at 11. At CD17 I had one at 18.8 and one at 13. So, not that great. I'm going to trigger tomorrow.

I'm having lining issues too and also have endo. Last cycle and this one they've put me on estradiol supp to help lining. We're having a meeting on Tuesday to discuss next steps and my guess is that if not successful this cycle, they'll take me off of Clomid and try something else next cycle. For some reason I though gonal f was next step, not femera. I am not sure what he'll suggest.

I have heard of taking gonal with Femara. Femara doesn't thin the lining. I think the gonal boosts the follies too, not sure though b/c I'm still a bit clueless with all of this.

Ugh, this is what I'm dreading! I heard of them using gonal with Femara, but I'm not sure why they aren't with me. Maybe because they need to see how I respond. I know you generally get less follies with Femara which is fine as long as I get one.
