3rd beta update
Well dr b just called and my third beta is 762. He says it's perfect and right on target. Dr b thinks it is a singleton. The difference between first and second beta wAs a huge jump. Now it is balancing out. He said one could have been lost. I am so worried now. He did say this looks perfect but wants me to go for one more beta. How does this number sound?

how many days between this beta and previous?
i also had a huge jump b/w 1 and 2nd and a more even increase b/w 2nd and 3rd. I am sure it is fine.
not idea how he can judge from beta if one baby might have been possibly lost

My first beta was 90. 2 days later it was 275. Now 4 days later it is 762. He did say everything is right on target but o can't stop worrying.

I don't know much about the numbers so I'm no help there. My RE doesn't even give me the number. Just says if it's good or not for this exact reason. He doesn't want me worrying.
I always thought betas were not indicative of multiples. Some people have had low ones and has twins and some have been super high with singletons. The only real way to know is with a sono. I thought progesterone levels were more of an indicator of twins or not.
Anyway, if he isn't worried, then I wouldn't be. I know it's easier said than done. Just try to relax as much as possible for your little bean.

Although dr. B says my numbers are perfect, he wantse to go for a fourth beta. That makes me nervous. Has anyone had to go for a fourth beta!
