Lovenox Q

Can anyone offer some advice with Lovenox?? Where exactly on the stomach does it go?

below the belly button... ever use gonal/follistim? It can go in the same place.

Oh I meant anywhere below.. to the side.. directly under... whatever At least that's how I've been doing it for the past week!

You would think by now I would be a pro - I mean it has been over a year of shots - but anytime I have a new one I get so anxious!

i used to do it about and inch below and then alternated an inch to the right or left. but now my belly is too big and i inject closer to my hip. it doesnt really matter that much, anywhere at or below the belly button line is fine.

Just checking - it kind of burns right? Also, it kind of feels weird to be doing a shot in the stomach at this point, but I am sure it is fine.

believe me at 28w it feels weird every time i inject!! i had to totally move over to the hip area cause theres nowhere to grab anymore since my belly is so stretched now. as soon as i started feeling the baby move i stopped being able to inject closer to the belly button cause it freaked me out!!
and yes it burns. some injects more than others, but in general it does burn. i find that the specific spot you choose makes a big difference, also injecting VERYYYYYYYYY slowly minimizes the burn.

Thanks for responding:) I can imagine as time goes on injecting in the stomach gets even more weird. It just feels so scary to be putting something in the stomach now!!!
