If you fail the 1 hour...
Would you get called immediately to go get the 3 hour done, or would you have to wait until your next scheduled dr's appointment to find out?
I went last Thursday...granted it's only been 4 full business days, and I don't know the turnaorund time on this, but I haven't been called by my doctor, so I'm hoping that no news is good news on this?

They wanted me to go within a week. I would give your OB a call just to be sure.

my dr told me they would only call if i didnt pass, so no new is good news. but he said i could call the next day if i wanted to be sure.

I would assume they would call you if the results were bad though. But IDK for sure.

I waited 3 business days and called my OB...I passed! :) I always feel like no news = good news...but call for the peace of mind!

turn around is usually 1-2 days and they usually only call if you fail.

I found out right away-they told me at the lab for both pregnancies.
I passed with DD and I got to go home.
I failed the 1 hour with DS and had to go back upstairs to the OB to "discuss"
Maybe because the lab and the OB are in the same building?

I never understand the whole if you don't hear from me it's good news, I would always be wondering whether someone looked at my chart!
I would just call and make sure you passed, that way no worrying/wondering!
When I failed the 1 hour they wanted me to go for the 3 hour w/in the next 10 days. I took my 1 hour around 26 weeks.

What she said. Plus, most labs require a script to give you the 3-hour, so you will need that from your OB.

It took a week for the dr to call and tell me I failed the 1 hour, and I took the 3 hour 2 days later.
