Eggs fertilized,do most make it to 3 day transfer

I had 5 out of 8 fertilize. They seemed confident I would have eggs for Fri transfer but will I have frozens i wonder?

really depends what your issue is. i had 18 mature and fertilize. of that we used two perfect ones for a 5 day transfer and had 8 frosties as well. around day 3 most were still going strong. i have PCOS but no known egg quality issues (other than when i had really high LH and long cycles but thats fairly irrelevant to the IVF process).

any specific reason you are planning a 3dt specifically? i know some REs prefer 3dt because they think the embies do better back in the body, while others believe 5d blast transfers are better cause you get more info on how far the embies made it.

Guess based on mat of eggs we got,that's what he said. I just hope four make it,2 to freeze and 2 to transfer

Most will make it to day 3. And i agree with the above post. some doctors prefer 5dt so they can know how the cells are maturing. but there are babies born after day 3 transfer just like day 5 transfer. so just be positive about it.
