weird co-worker comment
my job just gave us some free pedometers as part of a wellness program they are starting. one of my co-workers (young, has 1 daughter) asked me if im getting a baby jogger and i said i registered for a city mini. then another co-worker said it's not really good to run/jog with babies when they are too young because of all the movement. this co-worker doesnt even have kids lol. and i dont plan on running or jogging with the baby but i will most definitely be going for nice walks. i didnt feel like explaining myself to this woman so i said i registered for 2 strollers and the other stroller was a regular one. then she said "ohhh. 2 strollers" and then the convo ended. i just thought it was weird that she was adding her 2 cents in when she doesnt even have any children.

Re: weird co-worker comment
Just because she doesn't have children doesn't mean she doesn't have a lot of experience or knowledge.
If you're on a smooth path, why can't you jog, it's not like they are on your back or anything?
Sorry she annoyed you though.

Re: weird co-worker comment
People love to give their opinions on everything.. but like a pp said, just because she doesn't have a kid, shouldn't mean that she doesn't know about things. I do agree shouldn't have said what she said.. people can be annoying..

Re: weird co-worker comment
I just wanted to let you know that I read an article about the same thing, if your walking with the baby it's fine, but the article said you should not jog or run with a baby that is too small in one of the jogging strollers.

I wish people would just not talk... DH's cousin's husband did this to everything we said about our son or the future plans we had for a house... like he knows everything and we are just stupid

I've read that also. I don't plan to run with my LO until she is 6 months old. I will use my jogger for walks around the neighborhood and to the park.
I'm sorry she annoyed you.
