Should i be nervous??
So this morning i was packing my lunch before i left for work, and as i bent down to grab something out of the fridge, i felt this sharp shooting pain, that was from my vagina, up to my lower abdomin on the right side. Kinda felt like i pulled a muscle almost...
well the sharp pain went away after a few mins, but it def still hurts in that same area...
i googled real fast to see what it could be and i read it could be the baby was pushing on a nerve causing the pain.
so i got to work and have been sitting down for an hour or so, and when i went to get up, i still feel the pain!!!
what could it be? should i be worried?? if it were the baby pushing on a nerve could the baby still be in the same spot?
eta: i am 29 weeks

Wouldn't hurt to call the Doctor just to calm your mind.

Re: Should i be nervous??
It sounds like round ligament pain. I've had this happen many times bending over too fast or getting up too fast after laying down. It's pretty common and normal!!

Re: Should i be nervous??
I've had similar aches and pains, and they've come and go and I've never really been too worried unless it was consistent and unbearable (which hasn't happened).
If you're nervous, though, it doesn't hurt to call the OB and ask! (I know we are in the same practice - I've called before and been able to speak with a nurse right away, so that's an option too!)

I don't think it is anything to be worried about but I would call your doctor just to be safe and have a piece of mind. I hope you feel better

Re: Should i be nervous??
I dont think its anything to be worried about...i get that from time to time rolling over in the night (same thing on my right side)...i have been meaning to ask my doctor about it but keep forgetting...as long as the pain isn't in some form of pattern i wouldn't worry
