what do you tell work?

I work in the city and the RE and my OBGYN is LI.
With all these tests and bloodwork how many times can I really ask to leave early? What do you tell work?

My bosses do not know I am going through fertlilty treatments & that is by choice. I am a very private person and sadly, I dont think they would even understand.
I do let them know I have Dr appts but by law they cannot ask what specifically you are going for.
I try to make up the time by coming in early or staying late or using personal/vacation time.
It is a big dedication but you gotta do what you gotta do.

maybe you can go in early or leave late on those days and just let them know you have doctors appts and you'll make up the hours? That's what I've done in the past or I've worked from home some days. Not sure thats an option for you though.

After over a year already, plus a loss... word gets around... It's pretty much common knowledge where I work at this point Although, I really don't care anymore who knows. The only thing I care about is that it should work.

ETA: Oh and to answer your question, I just tell my boss the truth. I am lucky because he is VERY good to me and extremely supportive.

I told my boss outright. It made him so uncomfortable at first he just said yes to anything. Then he got curious and would ask if I went to blast yet. Dope!
The place I go opens at 6:30 and it's close to my house so monitoring never affected my time there, just when I needed off for retrieval and transfer.

I just told my boss outright as well. I think it made him uncomfortable too, so whenever I need to leave or come in late he always says just do what you have to do.
