The Hub is currently deployed (has been since mid January, I was 7.5 weeks). His initial return date was scheduled for 4/15/11. No biggie.
Each month that date gets pushed out. His return is now scheduled for 6/15/11.
I am due 9/2/11.
That will put me at almost 29 weeks IF he returns 6/15/11.
He still has a lot to do in the nursery before I can put anything in there not to mention my shower will be a week later.
At what week/point would you really start to get nervous and uncomfortable with the fact that he has not returned?
I'm thinking 6/15/11 is my limit!

I think it's different if your husband is deployed versus traveling for business. If my husband was in the military, I would probably get nervous sooner.
Dh does travel for business, I think as long as he is home about 1 week before my induction date (so, 2 weeks before my due date), I would be fine. This is my 3rd, so I am more laid back.
As for the nursery and all of that prep work-we aren't finding out the gender so we'll do that after the baby is born anyway.

Ugh, that is so stressful and I give you so much credit and your husband for doing what you guys do for our country. If he is home by 6/11 that will give you plenty of time and he'll even get to enjoy the last bit of your pregnancy with you. I'd probably get nervous if they couldn't schedule his return until August. June/July would be ok.
I'm not in the same situation at all, but my husbands been traveling for the last 3 weeks off (since I was 34 weeks) and on and will continue to do so until a month after my due date for interviews. He was in Texas last week, Maryland this week, Philly, Florida, and another trip to Texas to come. I didn't really start to worry until his trip last week to Texas. I'm just about 37 weeks now. There is not alot I can do about the whole situation, but I do have a back up plan in place in case he can't get here in time. I'm just hoping the baby comes when he is home!

Thanks guys!
DH is not military but he is a Department of Defense / Military contractor. He installs communication systems in military vehicles.
If worst came to worst he could pull out and come home pretty quick unlike the military.
I just hate that hes so far away and it takes at least a week to get home should something happen.
I think Im going to tell him mid June is the latest im comfortable with. He will have to discuss a different option with his boss if the project goes beyond that point.
I just hate that he is missing out on this whole experience with me. And Id like to start "construction" on the nursery!
