Spinoff to cramps post.....
Lots of people said cramping ended up being a good thing for them.
I promised myself I wouldn't read into anything and I'm doing a pretty good job ... but that post left me wondering...
Has feeling NOTHING been a good sign for anyone? I mean really pretty much nothing.
I know it's different for everyone, but I just need something to hold onto for the last days leading up to my beta!

Re: Spinoff to cramps post.....
The first time I got pregnant I had cramping the whole 2ww and I was preggo. This time I had nothing at all. My only "symptom" was the road maps on my chest which I get usually get 13dpt. I had some slight cramping that day too but nothing substantial. when is your beta?

Re: Spinoff to cramps post.....
I felt absolutely nothing with DC#1. I was 100% convinced that the cycle did not work and I actually started getting really upset about. Imagine my surprise when we had a BFP!
The only thing I had once we got the BFP was bloat, but that was normal for me during my failed cycles too.
I really didn't have any symptoms at all the first 10 weeks or so and had a very easy pregnancy overall.

Re: Spinoff to cramps post.....
honestly... the cycle I got my 2nd BFP... DH asked me, out of nowhere, "do you feel pregnant or anything at all?" I QUICKLY responded "NO!" My response was so fast and stern that I even surprised myself. But it was true. I was feeling NOTHING.
Then a couple of short days later I felt cramping and realized I was implanting. I took a test 3 days later and a BFP it was.
I think about you and wonder how you are doing and hope that you get that BFP soon!!! Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Spinoff to cramps post.....
I know I told you when saw you this morning (thanks again, by the way ), but wanted to tell everyone here too --I still have NO symptoms!
I POAS once a week just to calm myself down and was afraid to go to Dr. B yesterday because I thought we weren't going to see anything on the sono. I brush my teeth without gagging, I'm not more tired than usual, and I'm not even going to the bathroom much more often (I am trying to drink more water now tho!).
The only thing I do have --I didn't even know WAS a symptom of early pregnancy! My sciatic (sp?) nerve has been killing me, but I thought I'd just been sleeping wrong or something. Dr. B said it's probably from the extra progesterone --it inflames the sciatic nerve and presses it against the spine.
Anyway, that's my story... even tho symptoms may be reassuring, enjoy not having them for the time being. And tons of luck on Thursday!!!

Re: Spinoff to cramps post.....
Thanks everyone!!
This is typical for me... I spend the first half of the wait optimistic and as it comes closer to testing day, reality starts to set in that I might NOT like the outcome.. so I start to try and prepare myself and overanalyze what I'm feeling- or not feeling.
This is the most stressful part of the whole process!!! Waiting to test is WORSE than the fear of the ER .. the needles........ the bruised up forearm from daily bloodwork........... the uncertainty at this point is what I hate most of all.

Re: Spinoff to cramps post.....
I had lots of cramping after my first transfer which was a BFN. I pretty much had no symptoms the next time other than being really tired and that one worked.
I know everyone says don't read too much into your symptoms, but really, don't.

Re: Spinoff to cramps post.....
I only felt cramping about 2 days (10 DPO) before my BFP and it just felt like AF was coming. Ive had light cramping the whole time. But even now at 7 weeks I feel like I have really only started to feel pregnant this week. Sore bb's didnt start until 5 weeks or so and frequent urination started about the same but only at night. Now, the nausea and exhaustion are kicking in. I think you can go either way with symptoms.

Re: Spinoff to cramps post.....
Didn't do ivf but I did note in my ttc calendar "prett much no symptoms whatsoever" and then got a surprise bfp 2 days later. No Symptoms doesn't mean you are out! I'm rooting for you!!!

I didnt start feeling anything until a few weeks in.
Good Luck! Sending you lots of

Re: Spinoff to cramps post.....
Thanks everyone for the reassurance!!
I'm going crazy waiting over here and reading into every little twinge or non-twinge is so stressful! I have come to realize having a baby is a natural human process and we were just NOT equipped (biologically) to deal with the stress of infertility!!

it's all really a huge mind f*ck.
but really... and I say this with kindness.. you need to relax. I hate when people tell me to relax and I hate saying it to anyone. But I think relaxing and trying to take your mind off it will help you. Relax your mind and body. Don't look soo into the symptoms... because honestly knowing what others felt and comparing what you are feeling won't change the outcome for you at all; but it will feed into the insanity of it all. It really is different for everyone... and nothing of what others felt or didn't feel will affect what your outcome will be. You have 4 days left... and I know all this waiting must be making you nuts (TOTALLY understandable)... but I just don't want to see you stressing over it like this.
That being said... I truly hope this is it for you.

Re: Spinoff to cramps post.....
Thanks, I understand what you're saying.. and as far as asking other people what their experiences were- I know by now that what other people's experiences are have no baring on what my own will be. If that were the case, I would not be in this position at all.
That said, it's still at least somewhat comforting to compare signs, etc and gain perspective on what it was like for others who have went through the same thing.

Re: Spinoff to cramps post.....
PennyCat.. i felt NOTHING leading up to my bfp beta (and even after the beta) Only about a week or so after bfp did i actually start feeling some soreness in my boobs and mild backaches
It's obvious that everyone is different, but i also believe that our bodies can vary from month to month (sometimes for no reason at all) so trying to read into symptoms can only lead to further questions!
and to you for this cycle! hang in there!!
