maternity bathing suit?

We are going to the Amalfi coast in early May (I'll be 24-25 weeks). It will likely be too cold to swim, but we may want to lay out on the beach/terrace. My parents also have a pool so I may want to swim at some point this summer.

Is it worthwhile to get a maternity bathing suit? If so, should I be looking at a tankini? One piece? Bikini? What are the best places to get one without spending a bundle? Also, if I buy something that fits me at 25w will it still fit later in pregnancy too? Am I crazy for even considering getting in a bathing suit when very pregnant?

Destination has cute one and they are about $35 for a tankini. They don't have many 1 pieces but the one they have this year is adorable. if you do get tankini make sure the side isn't just flat-and it can stretch.

I had actually gotten a cute bathing suit (a tankini) at Target inexpensively my last pregnancy. Definitely get one, you'll regret it if you don't.

Definitely get one.....being preggo in the summer is not fun but relaxing in a pool helps make it more bearable. Some say they will stay in AC all the time but I'd rather be by a pool.
Try it on now and if your concerned about size go up one. Better safe than sorry. Target has cute ones, so does Motherhood maternity. I just got this one at Kohls.

Bathing suit

I'm usually a size 8 pre-preggo but I am all belly and boobs when preggo I tried on a large and it fit but I'm only 20 wks so I got the XL to be safe. I'm due 8/18 and I know I will be getting bigger in belly so I wanted to be comfy....I don't care about sizes when preggo.

When I was pregnant with DS we went to Aruba. I got really cute maternity suits at Motherhood.
