Curtain Help
Finally I took down our horrible vertical blinds covering the sliding glass door and found the identical curtain rod (matches the other kitchen window) at BBB on clearance this past weekend so I grabbed it. So now, I need to cover the sliding glass doors.....
I really like the panels I have on the kitchen window right now (see pic), esp the color. I would like to order those to cover the slider. The only problem IS the sun shines thru so bad thru the sliders so I was thinking blackouts but those are typically so thick and don't hang well.
My ? is should I just replace the kitchen window too with a nice blackout IF I can find anything I like. It's had to find groomets with brushed nickel, everything is bronze.
My other ? I find that blackouts usually come in dark colors so, if I had to change the color what color would you suggest go with this room? This is an open floor plan so the color will be seen from every angle of the house.
I realize that I could order the originals and put a liner on them but I hear thats a PITA!

Re: Curtain Help
I have panels and sheers on my sliders.
The sheers offer privacy and light filtering - is that an option for you?

Re: Curtain Help
I want something that will be easy to open since I have 3 dogs and they are always wanting in and out so the slider is constantly being open.
