IVF, here I come!
After 2 years of doing everything I can to avoid IVF, the time has finally come for this "end of the road" treatment. I am fully ready for it and am content with the decision to move forward in this direction.
We had our follow-up consultation with Dr. Braverman today, and it turns out I have some thyroid issue (Hoshimotos or Graves?) and my DH has some chromosomal translocation issue. I also have endometriosis and all the potential issues that can stem from having that.
Today, I am starting BCP for 3 weeks, and will start stims 5 days after that ends. Had we not been going on vacation in 3 weeks, I could have done it w/o BCP, but that was too risky in terms of timing. I know I'm going to have to do lovenox shots - what is that like?
I am excited and nervous ... but mostly excited just to take this next big step. PRAYING this is the last leg of our journey!!

Good luck!!! It's soooo exciting getting started!!
I did my first lovenox shot this morning. I was scared because I heard it can burn and heard horror stories- but I injected it slowly and had NO issues at all!! I didn't feel it even!

Good luck! It does seem scary, but after everything that we go through and seeing so many BFP's as a result of IVF, it will be worth it in the end. I am in the middle of my 2nd week of BCP. I have a hysteroscopy next Thursday and then discuss starting stims, hopefully right away. Good luck!!!
