Braxton Hicks???
What do braxton hicks contractions feel like?
When do they normally occur (how late in pregnancy?)
How many times a day or week do they happen?

I had Braxton Hicks starting around week 25 or so and they happened (on average) a few times per week til I gave birth at 38 weeks. They felt like cramping and sometimes they actually could be timed.

Mine felt like my belly just got rock hard. I can't remember when they started (third tri), but I thought I had them at 17 weeks and the doctor said no - it was probably just the uterus contracting

Mine felt more like Erika's. It was like a band of hardness across my belly. I want to say it started mid/late 2nd tri until I gave birth.

Mine were like PP said- hardness across my belly. I felt very high on my belly. It would last maybe a minute or so. Mine started around 26-28 weeks I believe. They key is to stay hydrated- make sure you are drinking lots of water. They are more likely to happen when you aren't drinking enough. When I wasn't on top of my water intake, I would get them a handful of times a day. If I stayed hydrated, I get them maybe once a week or so.

I have had period like cramping around once or twice a week. Some people say they are BH but I don't experieince any hardening. So I'm not sure if that's what I'm experiencing.

I got them really often with DD and getting them again with this one..my belly would get insanely hard and a bit crampy

OK.
I think that's what I experience. Every once in a while... I feel crampy and my stomach gets a littler harder. And it lasts about a minute or so... then it stops.
It's not excruciating or anything, but it is uncomfortable and last night it hit me... I think it's BH. It's only happened a few times so far I think.
I'm 26 weeks.
