shatter nailpolish ... can over 30 pull this off?
This is all the rage I guess, it looks odd to me, and I feel so old because it looks odd to me, I feel like its for younger girl, but nothing about me screams over 30... yet. But it looks like when we used to draw on our nails in sharpies in junior high 
What do you think?
The more I imagine in on my hand the more I warm up to it.

I think so. I am over 30 and used it! I belong to the purse forum which is where I heard about this and I bought it. I did it and it looked very cool. It looks good with glittery polish under it.

I saw someone at the salon put it on over matte purple nail polish and it looked terrible. My friend did it over burgundy like color from the same colection and it looks cool but still not sure ... it has to ferment in my head a bit lol
Did you have to wait for the underneath polish to dry? I notice the effect is better if you put a thinner coat? right?

I used it over a sparkly pink. It doesn't look great over matte colors, I found that the sparkly ones work best. Opi's teenage dream is a good one to put underneath (I know I sound like I am 16 right now LOL). You have to wait for the polish underneath to completely dry. Yep, I put a very light coat on top.

I swear, I was thinking about posting the exact same thing the other day. Just so you know, any beauty supply stores that I have called are out of it.  But, I ordered it from amazon and it should be here tomorrow! 
I'm 29, and I'm going to rock this. I can't wait for it to come.
Oh, and there are SO many "how to's" on you tube for this.

BUMP. I had the shatter nail polish manicure done at my local salon today and I love it. I'm 28 and definitely don't feel too old for it. HTH
