At what age did you????

Start to give your baby Puffs? Jacob will be 7 months in 2 weeks.. i am scared, but heard they melt in their mouth. Any thoughts? Thanks!!!!!!!!!

8 months. But I have heard people give them to their children earlier. the can says if they can pick up food w/ their fingers then they can have it.

I guess about 7 months. Andrew was eating Cheerios then too. HE couldn't pick them up himself until about 9 months, so I would just sit with him and feed him.

We tried them often at 6 months but he really started eating them closer to 7 months.

I think that's about when I tried but she actually didn't like them and still doesn't so I give her Pirate's Booty which she loves.

I tried between 6-7 months.... and he was a gagger...

Recently (about 8.5 months) I re-introduced him... and he did great-

I started by breaking them in half... but one day decided to be brave and try a whole one... and he did great!

I have to say he is doing GREAT with "people" food.... but its only been for the past month....

Some baby started at 6-7 months... but Ryan choked on everything but baby food, mashed pot. and ice cream


You could def. try them... break it up first... and stand close by.... you'll know if he's ready...


ETA- they do melt in your mouth... try a few- they're yummy and it will give you an idea of how they melt



ALSO- they say- if your child can crawl and sit up well on his own... than he is ready (and really this is pretty much exactly when Ryan was ready)

just last week and he loves them..he will be 7 months on monday..

he is like a little birdy with them since he holds his mouth open for me to feed them to him..since he tries to do it himself but they stick to his hands...

I give Noah rice cakes and baby biscotti now, he is six months old. Mainly he sort of svcks on them and drops them, but they are good practice for other finger foods. I am guessing they are similar to those puffs

Can you get puffs at someplace like Waldbaums? I am going to get some brought over when my parents come

About 7 months. She can;t really pick them up although she tries, she is getting there.

I am paranoid of choking too. I cut them in half.
Once she gagged on one and threw up

6 mos - I started just giving him like 1/3 of the star and then 1/2 and about 7 mos gave him the whole thing. By 8 mos he was shoving 3 or 4 in there at a time
